Word 2002 and Office Word 2007
Some of my Word 2002 doc. files (that contain tables) won't convert into my
new 2007 Word program so I want to run them both. However, when I use Word 2002, the 2007 uninstalls and vice versa. Is there anyway to keep them both running at the same time? |

Re: Word 2002 and Office Word 2007
When running Word 2003 & 2007 on the same setup, you can use the norereg
key, which is described here: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com/?s=norereg I don't know if the norereg registry key works for Word 2002, but it's worth a try. Other than that, prior to learning about the norereg key, the only way I was able to tame that sort of behavior was to always run the less important version of Word (i.e., for which I didn't need any personalized settings) by starting Word with the /a switch (winword.exe /a). Or... run it on a virtual machine. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "andreaokrusko" <andreaokrusko@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:280FA930-6B35-47CA-BBB5-65A8865741BA@microsoft.com... > Some of my Word 2002 doc. files (that contain tables) won't convert into > my > new 2007 Word program so I want to run them both.
