Re: why does this error message always appear when I close a docum

Terry,
I tried to open the link you provided, but it is dead now.
Also, I tried changing the printers like you suggested. For me, when I asked
it to print to the xps printer and then close it, it worked fine. However,
when using my HP printer (which is networked, and offline) it gave the error.
Also, I tried to close a blank document and it closed fine.
If I tell the Word to close first, then exit word, no error. It is only when
I click on the X that it finds the error.
Do you suppose it is in regards to the HP being offline?

Re: why does this error message always appear when I close a docum

That was MONTHS ago. The URL has now changed but is irrelevant to this
problem.

Your problem is the HP printer driver. Please report this to HP in the hope
that the volume of complaints will get them to fix their problem.

In the mean time, the only workaround is to set a different printer as the
Windows Default and only switch to the HP when you need to print.
