Re: Why the bookmark inserting automatically?
Hi avkokin,
If you have copied something from another file and pasted it into Word as a link, then an OLE link bookmark might be a reasonable result. However, these bookmarks sometimes also appear for no apparent reason, although it's been suggested that Word Addins like Adobe Acrobat can cause it. If there's no good reason for the links to be there, you can safely delete these bookmarks. -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "avkokin" <avkokin@gmail.com> wrote in message news:d367924f-258d-48ed-a73c-f1d8282822cd@34g2000hsh.googlegroups.com... > Hello. > Word 2003. These bookmarks inserting spontaneous and then when I'm copy into this document, not insert from other documents. That is problem. Delete these bookmarks of course I might, but this is unnecessary action. |

Sorry this doesn't make sense. What is the difference between 'I'm copy into
document' and 'not insert from other document'? They both sound the same action to me. Would you try to explain this clearly. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP Hello. Thank's. But I don't use Acrobat. At once to crop up bookmark (OLE_Link1) for this selected text. Why? Thank's for your advises. |

Re: Why the bookmark inserting automatically?
This does sound like a third party add-in that is interfering with Word.
Start Word in Safe Mode and test to see if it does it in Safe Mode. From Start, Run, type in winword /a and press enter. Word now opens in Safe Mode. Open two documents and try the copy/paste and see if the bookmarks are still occurring. Re: Why the bookmark inserting automatically?
I would suspect either an add-in or maybe you have some type of Clipboard
utility?
