how do i find the file, edit tabs in microsoft word 07 the tabs are not
coming up.

Open the Paragraph dialog (almost identical to the previous dialog) by click
on the little arrow at the bottom of the Paragraph group on the Home Ribbon.
Click on the TAB button at the bottom of the dialog.

Or you as in previous versions you can double-click in the lower half of the
ruler and that will open the TAB dialog (double-clicking the upper half
opens the Page Setup dialog too).

If you are looking for the main menus of Word versions up to and including
Word 2003, note that these are no longer available in Word 2007. Most
commands on the old File menu can now be found if you click the Office
button on the top left. The other commands can be found on the various
ribbon tabs.
