you have exceeded the max. number of pages supported by ms office
My director gets this message every time he tries to print 1 document in
particular. He printed out many different documents but only gets this error when trying to print one specific document. We had someone else try printing it from their pc and it works fine. I've cleaned up the hard drive of temp files and cache and have rebooted more than once. I've googled it, searched the knowledge base and have found no viable fix for this. PLEASE HELP! |

Re: you have exceeded the max. number of pages supported by ms office
The message is bogus. There is no "page" limit in Word, only a file size
limit (which he is unlikely to have exceeded). I would look for a rogue macro or interference from an add-in. -- Suzanne S. Re: you have exceeded the max. number of pages supported by ms office
Hi Mike,
What version Word are you using and is it the same version that was used to create the document? The message is one that is embedded in Word, but may be getting triggered/displayed in error because Word may not have an error message to display for the real cause <g>. Did you get an error number at the beginning of the message? Are track changes turned on and/or are you using balloons for changes or comments? That, or file corruption seem to be what triggers this, although as Suzanne mentioned it could be a macro or add-in as well (if you hold the ctrl key when starting Word and open and print the same document do you get the same error). =========== <<"ISMIKE" <ISMIKE@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:050F50F9-4A7E-4442-9DE4-3CFB1F13B1B7@microsoft.com...
