CD/Dvd drives?
I have a Sony laptop running WindowsXP sp2 and it has a cd/dvd combo drive
which only burns cds. Connected via a usb port is a Pioneer external cd/dvd burner which burns both cds and dvds. I have noticed when i "enable CD recording on this device" on both of them one will be disabled. In other words it appears only one of the drives at a time can have burning enabled. Is this normal? And can it be fixed so both can have recording enabled simultaneously? |

Yes this is normal, however if you use third party burning software such as Nero you can burn to any drive reguardless of the checkmark setting. -- Mike Pawlak |
