Where is calc.exe's setting saved?
Hi Experts:
I have a question about the calculator program "calc.exe" on Windows XP. It run on either "Standard" or "Scientific" mode based on user's selection. I like to know where exactly user's selection is saved? Thanks in advance. Polaris |

Not in XP, though it may be in Vista.
For XP.... Look in Win.ini under the section [SciCalc] layout=1 for Standard layout=0 for Scientific ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows - Internet Explorer http://dts-l.com/index.htm On Wed, 2 Apr 2008 01:21:51 -0700, in microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, "Polaris" <etpolaris@hotmail.com> wrote: >Please forget it.
