Where is calc.exe's setting saved in Windows XP?
Hi Experts:
I have a question about the calculator program "calc.exe" on Windows XP. It run on either "Standard" or "Scientific" mode based on user's selection. I like to know where exactly user's selection is saved? Under Vista it is HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Calc\layout (see this on my Vista machine). But where it is saved under XP? Thanks in advance. But where it is saved under XP? I think we're experiencing deja vu all over again. You asked this a day or so ago and then answered it for yourself. |

Look in Win.ini under the section [SciCalc]
layout=1 for Standard layout=0 for Scientific ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows - Internet Explorer http://dts-l.com/index.htm On Thu, 3 Apr 2008 19:48:00 -0700, in microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, "Polaris" <etpolaris@hotmail.com> wrote: >Hi Experts: > >I have a question about the calculator program "calc.exe" on Windows XP.
