Hi.
Sorry about x post..tried hardware but no response. Win Xp Just checked my bios for temperatures etc. due to my PC monitor switches off! (HD still running anyway), and occasionally my desktop freezes. Readings as follows: (PC been running approx. 1 hour) 1) System temp'...28c/82f 2) Fan speed...4326 rpm. 3) CPU temp'...51c/123f. 4) SysFan...0. As a guideline can anyone see anything unusual in the above figures please? TIA Terry |

If so your video card maybe overheating. It happens with some of the highend games where you are running the minimum VRAM recommendation. If you are running a laptop and the vents are blocked, 51c could be causing you to over heat also. Lastly, if the first system is always the monitor and you are running either a desktop or laptop, the cable to the video display could be damaged. -- Sincerely, C.Joseph Drayton, Ph.D. AS&T CSD Computer Services Web site: http://csdcs.tlerma.com/ E-mail: csdcs@tlerma.com |

Re: system values..help please
Thank you all
No games played. It is a desktop, end user only. I did check another route, which was the power options which I have changed from "always on" to "home/office"....just another thought ! All OK at present, but if not I may come back here. Regards Terry "C.Joseph S.
