Media Player 11

just down loaded WMP11 I can play old DVDs and CDs but my new copy of
National Treasure or any other new DVDs won't load the screen reads no disc
in drive. Have looked for updates and patches and codexs but nothing happens.
What do I do Next?

Why do you bother asking? Run out and buy a brand new top of the line
computer with Vista!

Hello,
If it is a codec problem the following item may be of some value.
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...codec_pack.htm
Download, make a restore point, install K-lite and run your new DVD.
If it does not work then you can remove K-lite.
I had WMP11 on one unit for several days, then removed item.
Have no information concerning possible codec problems in WMP11, try Google.
take care.
beamish.
