Prevent programs from starting on other user's desktop
I recently purchased a Blackberry Cell phone and loaded the DeskTop Manager
program that enables me to sync it to my Outlook data. When other users on my computer log on, the Desk Top Manager loads at start up. It takes several munutes to load and is an annoyance to them. I have administrator priveledges. How can I prevent the program from starting when the other users log on? |

If so, do the following. On your Start menu, right click on Startup and select Open All Users from the menu. Right click again except this time select Open. You should now have two folders open. Move the shortcut from the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder into the Startup folder for your account. Good luck Nepatsfan |

OT Re: Prevent programs from starting on other user's desktop
Sorry, Kelly, but I am unable to discuss any topic that's even remotely
connected with a certain football team from NYC ![]() Seriously, if he keeps his mouth shut he'll help take some of the pressure off of Colston and Bush. The best case scenario for Saints fans would be if he plays this season with the same "I'll show them" attitude that Randy Moss displayed last year for the Patriots. The biggest question with the Saints is going to be their defense. Your team has a fairly easy schedule and plays in a relatively weak division. They should rebound from last year's disappointing results and get back to the playoffs.
