Just downloaded the sp3 pack with my windows xp pro and now when I log on I
try to use my help and support nothing happens I have lost that function
somehow.Is there any way to get this back? If I do a restore will that remove
Sp 3 which is what I would like to do.

Is it set to auto in services?

Control panel--administrative tools---services----look for 'help and
support' and set to automatic if not set.

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed? What
anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall
(if any)? Were any of these applications running in the background when you
installed SP3?

To remove service pack 3 click start
then click run - type appwiz.cpl in text box and hit enter
put a check mark on show updates from the add/remove programs window.
click on service pack 3 entry then cleck remove to uninstall the service
pack 3
