What happens to previous updates when installing SP3?
I am running XP Pro SP2 with all subsequent updates installed. I'm wondering
what happens to these updates when I install SP3.... does it remove them all because they are no longer needed? Or does it see that they're there and just install other stuff that it contains? Or what? Thanks in anticipation! Adam |

Re: What happens to previous updates when installing SP3?
The "updates" are in essence "hidden" and remain available should you ever
need to uninstall SP3 and revert to SP2. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Adam wrote: > I am running XP Pro SP2 with all subsequent updates installed.
