Burn CD

XP SP2
Inserted CD in drive E. Select files from C:. Copy. Paste to
E. Selected "Burn to CD". Inserted CD to CD-RW drive. The
wizard says no CD is present. The CD is recordable. Am I
missing a step?

Don't know what burning software you use, but, some programs
won't see the burner unless it was turned on BEFORE the burning
program was started.

I used the Windows program. This failed. ExpressBurn worked.
Why did this freework work, when Mr. Bill's software did
not? I guess Bill is not perfect.

Re: Burn CD

The third party software has corrupted the windows copy and paste function of
the burn to cd ability. do you have a drag and drop icon sitting in your
task bar?
