I want to edit the passwords file

I use the remember passwords option in IE7. However, on some site it comes
up with multiple password options.

Is there some way that I can edit the file holding all the passwords and
data on the sites that they relate to?

If not, does it mean that I have to delete all the passwords and start from
scratch?

Highlight a password in the list and press the Delete key.
