Issues on windows-xp
Hi,
I would like to send some issues/defects on Windows-XP as a User and as a Software Engineer-Testing. 1. System is not clearing the Search string for New Search in Windows-Search 2. Displaying the previous search results for Blank Search I am not sure about your requirements, if these issues are in the part of your requirement then its fine. In that case sorry for your time in this mail otherwise just have a look into this If you can give the concern department email id, i can send you the detailed document to that Regards |

And XP isn't getting a lot of further development support, being close to end of life, so very minor things like this aren't likely to ever be addressed. In fact, these things may well be specific to the state of your system; on mine, these fields *are* cleared on subsequent searches following reboots. Would suggest that you try clearing temp files, and cookies first. ccleaner can be very helpful for this - www.ccleaner.com . During install, you can choose to install, or not, a Yahoo toolbar. I generally say no. Let it clear out temp files and cookies, and see if your results don't change. HTH -pk |
