Application not displaying

HI,

I've a weird problem on my notebook.
I'm running the PC version of a GPS application (CoPilot) which has just
recently started doing odd things.

When I start it it runs (copilot.exe shows in Task Manager) but nothing
displays and nothing shows in Task Manager Applications.
I've tried deinstaling then reinstalling, playing around with various
display configuration settings but with no success.

Anybody got any ideas?

TIA

Bernie

PS CoPilot support couldn't help.

What happen if you open a run command and type in:
copilot.exe click [OK]
Does it open?.

Uninstall the application again, then run disk clean-up and defrag in safe
mode.
Double click " My Computer" then right click your Primary Partition C:\ and
select properties, on the properties window click Tools Tab then click on
Check Disk Button, a message will pop-up asking you to check the box for
check disk thoroughly and repair damaged files/folder.
Another message will po-up after you click Okay button asking you to run the
check disk on Start up, please say okay to it and reboot your machine.
After the check disk complete the process and you boot into windows, try the
installation, is it success?.
HTH.
