Windows Installation Number

Dear All

When I registered a version of Windows XP Professional, I registered it with
the wrong number. Is there anyway I can re-register it with the correct
number. The number originally used has been used before and we will not be
able to run any windows updates on the version of windows. My IT department
have asked me to register it with the number they have provided. They don't
know I have already installed it.

Thanks again.

Re: Windows Installation Number

Pegasus (MVP),

Thanks again for the speedy reply. Once again I should've used my brain
rather than get someone else to do the work for me. Your help is
appreciated.

Alastair
