printer driver
Hi,
I was able to install a HP LaserJet p3005 and Canon iPF710 printers on a window 2003 server. However, my XP users got the message below when they tried to map to these printers: The server for the "Canon ..." printer does not have the correct printer driver installed. If you want to search for the proper driver, click OK. Please advise -- Michelle |

You may have to connect it to an XP workstation and share it from there. -- Terry R. ***Reply Note*** Anti-spam measures are included in my email address. Alternatively, you can install the necessary drivers onto each workstation manually, either from the driver CD or from a network location. -- Bruce Chambers Help us help you: http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/555375 They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. ~Benjamin Franklin Many people would rather die than think; in fact, most do. ~Bertrand Russell The philosopher has never killed any priests, whereas the priest has killed a great many philosophers. ~ Denis Diderot |
