My system downloads updates for .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1 (KB929300)
everytime I loggin, but after trying to install it stops with message that
it was not installed. Any reasons? Thanks.

Yes, there are reasons. However without the error number appearing in the
lower left you will just go on wondering. You can use the links for further
information that are on screen when the failure to install message in on the
screen. Have you used these links?

After 2 hours of following these steps still .NET 3.1 does not install!
