XP - ONLY SEE MOUSE ARROW ON STARTUP
I have been using Xp for since it's release and have never come across such
a problem. I have an Acer Aspire 1310 laptop with Xp Prof installed and all functioned perfectly until 3 days ago. On startup I now see the Xp load up logo and screensaver image and mouse arrow only. No icons, no task bar! The only function that works is msconfig and all seems normal on that front. I have already tried restoring to a previous working situation but getting same results. Booting in temporary mode works fine and have seems system is working fine. Any idea on causes and possible solutions Thanks for any help Andy |
