Ways to lose weight?

Have you tried anything to lose weight or tone your body?

What as worked for you and what hasn't?

I've been doing the SlimFast thing for a couple months now. I've lost about 20 lbs and seem to be stuck lol. It takes a couple weeks to start losing weight, but if you stick to it, it should work. I try to have my shake for breakfast and lunch and not snack, that way I can eat almost whatever I want for dinner and still be under my calories.

We also have a BoFlex TreadClimber. I haven't used it much, but it seems to give you a good workout compared to a regular treadmill. Its almost like you're walking uphill or up stairs the whole time.

try going to a gym and working out about 30 min a day

or even drinking 2 glasses of water before each meal so that way you aren't as hungry and you dont eat as much

congrats on losing the weight....keep at it, it will come off

Thanks for the water tip, never thought about trying that. I started using our TreadClimber thing, so hopefully that'll work. We don't really have money to pay for a gym membership right now, so that's out of the question lol.

i usually drink a glass of whole milk during my dinner..yes it is more fattening but if you drink just one glass...it will fill you up while you eat so you wont wnat to go back for more helpings

my best suggestion is to watch what you eat and try to exercise. dont eat when you're bored and try to eat healthy.

There are a lot of good ways to lose weight. Always eat breakfast, but don't eat to much. Like maybe some milk and fruit. Don't eat stuff like lucky charms or cocoa puffs. Try not to eat anything between breakfast and lunch. For lunch and dinner eat really lean stuff. Do NOT eat any junk food before you go to bed because you can't burn it off when you are sleeping so then it all turns into fat. If you want junk food eat it in the middle of the day so you can work it off later. Run 1 mile every day, 50 sit-ups, 50 crunches and 50 jumping jacks, you should look great after about 2 weeks.

I'm still down about 25 pounds from my starting weight, which isn't too bad. I still haven't really worked out, but I know I need to.

I think you look good. Everyone wants to lose some weight.

How much do you want to lose? I was just looking at some of your photo albums online and I must say that you were pretty hot in those senior pictures, of course I think you're still hot

i know you're not on the atkins diet anymore, but you've still lost quite a bit of weight and you've been keeping it off, that's hard to do!
