I'm using Adobe Professional 6.0 to edit some pdf's. I'm trying to add a textbox to a pdf and I'm getting 'Text6 is not correctly formatted'. I've added texboxes to several other .pdf's without a problem and have compared the properties of the working textbox to the not-working textbox and the properties are the same. I haven't seen anything on the Adobe website that might lead me to an answer. Any ideas?

Do you mean a text box as in a form field, or using the text touchup tool?

I figured this out...Text5 was not a recognized Text Field name. I copied an existing text field name from my .pdf and modified the name so it would work with my field.
