I am running XP, and MS Outlook 2003. I had Reader 8, then upgraded to reader 9, but still get the same error message when I click the email icon from the reader toolbar.

"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook and set it as the default mail client."

I do have outlook set as default email client, as best as I can tell, through the Internet options inside Internet Explorer.

Any advise for resolving this issue?

Outlook needs to be set for MAPI.
