Problem with Acrobat 8 Forms being e-mailed
I have developed a PDF form for my company using Acrobat Pro 8 on a PC. This form is a job application for candidates to one of 7 stores my company owns. The form can be either printed or the data can be e-mailed. In development, everything worked fine, including the e-mail function. I had myself set as the recipient for testing purposes. Now, I need to change the e-mail address, because there will eventually be 7 different versions of the form, with 7 different e-mail recipients. When I changed the e-mail address that the form sends data to, I started getting a "Security Warning" every time it was tested. Apparently, the doc is storing my e-mail address somehow, even though I am no longer the recipient. The error I get is:
Security Warning
This document has accessed more than one site and might be trying to share data among different locations. This could be a privacy concern. Are you sure you want to continue?
If you click "Details" it shows that the document has previously accessed my e-mail address, and now is trying to access a different one. Is there any way to clear my address out of the memory? I don't want all of our users to think their security is being compromised by using the form. Anyone have any ideas?
I've already tried deleting the "Submit" button and re-creating it from scratch. My address always stays there as an option, and the Security Warning keeps coming back.
