Create from Multiple Files - Stop alphabetizing by file nameplease!!!
Greetings all,
I have to create 1 pdf from approx 70 source files with non- conventional filenames and various network locations. To organize this, I have created a folder with numerically sequenced shortcuts pointing to the various files. When I use the Create PDF from Multiple Files option and select this folder of shortcuts, it brings all of the documents into the list but re-sorts the list alphabetically based on the actual filenames. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE IN ADOBE ACROBAT 6. My work-around was to add each file one by one, which was tedious, time-consuming and had a high margin of error. Does anyone know of a work-around so that it would leave? Much appreciated! Paul |
