export Acrobat 8 to Word
I am having a really hard time sending large (~700MB) Acrobat files as
attachments to email. I am running Outlook 2007 under Vista Having spent several hours and some dollars to find and implement WinZip, I remembered that Acrobat was already compressed. Sooo I tried exporting to plain text and the pages were out of register by about 1/3 of the page width, so, for example, I could read the Table of Contents, but the page numbers were off the page. I have been trying for two days to export Acrobat 8 files to Word 2007 ( one at a time), with absolutely no success. I might get the first page of the document, but all the rest are blank. The export of a 1.3 GB Acrobat document took about 3 hours, with the 'thermometer" keeping me posted as to the progress of the process. Export of a 208 MB Acrobat file required over an hour also. Is the duration of the Export process normal? Can someone help me identify what I might be doing wrong. In this particular instance, the content is what is important to email, so I don't care if there are minor format differences; the file just needs to be readable. |
