BEWARE of nitroPDF upgrade problems

Bought nitroPDF pro at the local retailer. It was version 5.1.1.?. It
did not include the function that I purchased the product for. That
being inserting grapgics. When to the websiote and upgraded to ver
5.3.1.8. There were piles of problems from conversion errors
uninstall
crashed and burned outdated manuals, ect. The biggest problem was
that
I could insert graphics, butr they were placed, as a default, in the
center of the page. The problem is that you can neither move it or
resize it, which pretty much renders the function useless. While I'm
sure it works in the 5.3.1.8 noone was willing to spend the five
minutes to re-create the upgrade path I have just described. One
would
have thought that they would have done this before they shipped the
product.

No problem I though I'll simplly log a bug report and the support
group
will send me an fix. The support group IMO is less than useless.
After
a week and a half 1 dozen email and half dozen snail mails they have
refused to even look at the problem.

Their solution if you're unhappy with the product take it back to the
retailer and get a refund. Which I plan on doing.

This means on of two things.

one nobody on the support/techinical staff can
load a previous version on a machine
upgrade/load that5 latest version
open a pdf doc and insert na image and move/resize it

two the company has intentionally made it impossible to upgrade

Take your pick, either way not really a company I'd like to do
business with,
