Whenever i export out of illustrator the edges of fonts become rough, whereas they were smooth in illustrator, how do i export images without the text within becomming rough?

By not exporting in raster formats, or by choosing a sufficiently high resolution and applying Anti Aliasing if relevant.

Thanks, i've noticed that it is outputting correctly, the jpgs etc are as they where in illustrator, but when i load them into a html page they loose quaity, they turn very sharp, it must be somthing to do with my browser and not illustrator.

Do you export in the former case and SFW (Save For Web) in the latter? There is an Anti Aliasing setting in both cases; in SFW it is hidden away in the Image Size window.
