INCS2 Spot Colour Drop Shadow Problem
Hi all,
In urgent need of some help to meet a print deadline. Currently working on a document using 2 spot colours (Pantone 282 & Pantone Yellow) The covers background is pantone 282, if I then place a pantone yellow frame on top of this and add a white drop shadow (normal blending, 100% opacity, 4mm blur) when I output to a pdf the drop shadow is rendered as a solid white box instead of a feathered shadow - any ideas how to solve this? Setting of interest i am using - high resolution transparency flattener + using postcript level 3. I know this works as have created the same front cover i am having problems with on Indesign 2.0 Any help will be appreciated! Cheers, Steve |

Re: INCS2 Spot Colour Drop Shadow Problem
Thanks for the link Bob - I had actually read the article before posting...obviously not well enough.
My defaults had resetted and I had compatibility set to Acrobat 4 not 5 - knew it had to be something simple! Cheers, Steve |
