Flowing text & images
I'm working with a layout that seems like it should be simple to implement, but it's driving me mad. I have a text frame at the top of the page with several bulleted items. Below that is another text frame set to wrap the text around a graphic. It looks something like this:
* Bullet * Bullet * Bullet * Bullet Some text here. This text ++++++++ wraps around a graphic ++++++++ frame as indicated by the ++++++++ plus signs. Here's the problem: the bulleted list will be imported from XML, and there are a variable number of bulleted items. If I make the frame for the bullet text large enough to accommodate the maximum number of bullet items, it'll look stupid when it's less filled. What I really need is for the bullet list text frame to expand and "push" the other two down. But as I've seen from other posts here, that apparently is not going to happen. Which leaves me with Plan B. Plan B is to have just one large text box for ALL of the text. But the problem is, I need the graphic to flow with the paragraph text and remain BELOW the bulleted list. I tried to do this with both "inline" and "anchored" objects, and neither flowed the text around the graphic. If anyone has any ideas, please help! |
