Re:"could not initialize photoshop because the file could not be found"
1) what file?
2) does photoshop keep opening or crash? if it keeps opening, it's probably a problem with a 3rd party file, a plugin or printer or scanner driver or something like that. if it crashes, reinstalling may fix it. |

Re:"could not initialize photoshop because the file could not be found"
It opens, gives that blue box that says it's loading, and then that error message appears and it closes. I have reinstalled it plenty of times and have tried updating to 10.0.1 but the same error. =/ I've searched all over.

Re:"could not initialize photoshop because the file could not be found"
tried resetting the preferences? (full instructions are in the FAQ at the top of the forum.)
running as an administrator or regular user? no idea what file it's looking for? in the splash screen, can you tell what the last thing it's doing is, before the error? (loading preferences, loading plugins, etc.) |
