Manged to make an image link to an external website, but I need it to open in a new window.

I am currently using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3

Hello,

In design view, click on the image link.
In the properties window, select " _blank " from the Target dropdown.

Your code will then be similar to this:

<a href="somesite.htm" target="_blank"><img src="mypicture.jpg" width="100"
height="147"></a>

if your not worried about validation on the page will work.

Also, be sure you have rights to display the image on your site, even in
a popup.

If you are using XHTML 1.0 STRICT, then you'll need to do something like
this to validate:

Sweet!! I am so new to this it took me awhile to decipher where to find the
properties menu until I realized it was already open.

That worked as easy as can be.

I have a new problem that I will post tommorow. Please look for it!
