Having Test server not store files locally
Hi there everyone.
I just started using Dreamweaver CS3 and have never used the test server function before. Now i'm not exactly using it for what it was meant to be used for (PHP testing etc) but more like a server to test out what the site looks like. The page I am working with is all HTML, but I have a problem, Whenever I edit a file on the test server it creates a local file on my hard drive right near the real server. For example the local directory where my website is stored is "Mac HD > Documents > Webite > web" and the test server will store thing sright in "Mac HD > Documents > Website" This will cause confusion with the people that I configure this for, is there any way to make it stay just on the test server and not come down onto my local machine? Thanks |
