Pasting tables in from Numbers on Mac
For about the past six months I have been saving to upgrade my licensed Windows
version of Studio MX2004 because Adobe refuse to give me a crossgrade now that I am on Mac. On Windows I could easily copy a selection from an Excel spreadsheet and paste it into Dreamweaver, this was a weekly task that I had to do and saved me a lot of time. I've just installed a trial of the latest Dreamweaver hoping to copy a selection from a Numbers spreadsheet and I have found that this apparently much more advanced version can do no better than a bog standard free text editor. I saved about 30 minutes each week compared to now using Dreamweaver MX2004, now I have to type in every cell of the table every week one cell at a time. If anyone knows how to paste in a table, can you let me know? I hope the only option is not to have to spend hundreds of pounds buying Microsoft Office 2008 which I otherwise do not need. Thanks for your help. Ian |

Re: Pasting tables in from Numbers on Mac
I'm not using Excel, I'm using Numbers (iWork08). Anyway I exported the file to
CSV and copy and pasted the table parameters from the previous version of the table. It seems to have worked quite well. It's not quite as easy as a simple copy and paste but it's still easy and works well after I deleted the data not needed on the site. Thanks for your help. |
