scaling images for different resolutions???
hey.
is there a way to tell dreamweaver to scale the indavidual images i have used with hotspots to construct my site according to the different screen resolutions that people will be using to navigate it? i have been making them around 8-900 px high. is that huge? is there a generic size that images should be so a majority of people can see them? working on a 15" macbook pro the images read well. but i logged into the site from a pc downtown with an older monitor and it was almost 4x too big. cheers. m. |

Hi, I think that setting a percentage based width attributum to your images
could be an optiomal solution. There are different solutions to detect the applied screen resolution and change the design properties in accordance with the resolution, but I think the easiest will be to use percentage. |
