When I upgraded to CS3 at work, my fireworks and dreamweaver remained working
together in the properties bar. When I upgraded at home to CS3 I now have
Photoshop in my property bar. How do I change this back to fireworks, my
preferred choice.?

:sad; It says Fireworks! I also thought of that, I guess I should of
mentioned in first posting.

I was so surprised when I saw that, because the previous version 2004 was with
fireworks, I would of thought it would of carried forward.

Maybe a bad preferences file? Have you tried trashing it and making a new one
and then changing it to Fireworks?

In Mac OS X go to your Library->Preferences and delete the .plist file with
Dreamweaver in the name and then restart DW.

I have not thought of that, but I use a PC? I will have to check where that is for PC. :light;

:grin;Figured it all out now. In preferences/file types/
For some reason it had two fireworks and one photoshop associated to all the
different extensions. But the fireworks was marked as primary. So I deleted
all of the associations. Closed then reopened, then I associated the correct
extension with the file editor I wanted, with only one editor per extension.
Fixed everything fine.
