editing a website based on FTP
I am trying to add a link to a drop down button in dreamweaver CS3. The drop
down is simply a jpg picture of an oval with blank dop down rectangle. How do I add a word to the menu in dreamweaver/view the other words that are already there? Thanks! |

Re: editing a website based on FTP
You would start by looking at the source code on the page, for example,
here's the markup for the links in the first menu option - <a href="freestandingdesks.htm" class="style13">Freestanding Desk</a><br /> <a href="lateralfiles.htm" class="style13">Lateral Files</a><br /> <a href="pedestalfiles.htm" class="style13">Pedestal Files</a><br /> <a href="wardrobetowers.htm" class="style13">Wardrobe Towers</a><br /> <a href="bookcases.htm" class="style13">Bookcases</a><br /> <a href="doubledoorcab.htm" class="style13">Dbl. Door Cabinets<br /></a> <a href="overheadstorage.htm" class="style13">Overhead Storage</a><br /> <a href="colors.htm" class="style13">Colors</a><br /> <a href="fronts.htm" class="style13">Fronts</a><br /> <a href="locks.htm" class="style13">Locks</a><br /> <a href="index.htm" class="style14">Home Page</a> -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "new2dm" <webforumsuser@macromedia.com> wrote in message news:g6l5r1$j64$1@forums.macromedia.com... > www.greatopenings.com |

Re: editing a website based on FTP
Thanks Murray,
I was able to find where the current text with links were. (in a hidden layer). However now I tryed typing in the new link to the pdf, and it looks great on screen, but when I preview it in the browser, the new link text shares a line with the previous word, i think it has something to do with text formatting. I am working in the design mode since I am still far off from coding. I have it linked up okay and everything, it just looks wrong when I preview it. |
