Preloader for an html site with Flash content?

I'm just completing an XHTML/CSS website using Dreamweaver and my client has
requested the addition of two 212k flash animations, one on the homepage and
one elsewhere on the site. If this had been a Flash site I would have added a
Flash preloader to the front end, but it isn't. What sort of preloader would be
right for this particular job?
Many thanks in advance.

I would hope so. Why? Do you think that a preloader isn't necessary?

I think that two 212 KB Flash animations are not necessary ...

And preloaders usually just make it worse - 212 KB will be 212 KB, with
ot without a preloader. So if the client insists on these animations, I
would simply embed them without any preloading script.
