Re: Embed Photoshop Web Gallery Into Site
I used CS3 to creat a Web gallery. We like all of our pages to use our server
side includes. I tried copying the code from the Web gallery index page into one of my pages, but it didn't work. I get the gallery heading and info, but no pics. Where the thumbnails and images should be I have "Object not found! The requested URL was not found on this server. the link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error." Is it possible to embed a Web gallery that is in my remote files into a template page so it will match my Web site? |

The Object Not Found message means that there is a javascript object that has been left out of the page. A look at the code will tell which one that is. -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "sumnerweb" <webforumsuser@macromedia.com> wrote in message news:g6l8h6$m2b$1@forums.macromedia.com... >I used CS3 to creat a Web gallery. I've customised one of the basic Photoshop gallery templates by wrapping as much of the header and footer code from a standard site template as I want (I use one without left-hand nav for this purpose) around the gallery content. When I create the album in Photoshop then all the links are wrong (I might be better with root-relative links but I usually use doc-relative!) so I simply update the relevant gallery template in my DW site, which then corrects all the faulty links etc. Slightly long-winded - but it's simple and it works! I've used the same approach across a number of sites and templates, over time. -- David Pearson |
