Javascript Widgets being Removed

I am developing a web application, and whenever I open documents that use Spry,
Dreamweaver asks me if I would like to remove the unused widgets. This has
caused major problems. How do I disable this feature? thanks!

Re: Javascript Widgets being Removed

No, these widgets that it is removing are vital to the site. It just removes
all widgets. They aren't unused widgets, but it asks if I want to remove them.
I want to disable this dreamweaver feature, I don't trust automated dreamweaver
features to work around my code. I use a lot of PHP, so dreamweaver might
mistake a widget as unused because the HTML is being output elsewhere by some
other means.

Re: Javascript Widgets being Removed

Ok, I am getting that message, and there are not remnants of previously removed
widgets. It is a bug. And if its not a bug, its ruining my scripts when the
designer I am working with thinks its ok to click "yes."

does anyone know how to disable it?

thanks

REMOVE the scripting that triggers it. Show us your page, and I'll show you
how to do it. Sheesh....

Re: Javascript Widgets being Removed

Listen, if you use PHP to generate some HTML in a page, and you have the
Widgets generated seperately, Dreamweaver assumes that the widgets are broken
because they are not associated with any code in that particular document. I
can't simply remove vital scripts from my page because dreamweaver thinks they
are broken, because they are not. I just have to use a work around right now, I
wrap all my widgets in php so dreamweaver does not recognize them. But this is
annoying. If you anyone knows how to disable this feature, it would be much
appreciated. Once again, it is not broken or unused widgets.

Re: Javascript Widgets being Removed

If anyone knew, you would have the answer by now. If you had shown code
when originally requested - or even offered this further clarification -
this thread would have ended there.
