I have a problem updating DW8 to DW8.0.2 using Vista as DW8 looses FTP info and
8.0.2 fixes this problem.

I download and install 8.0.2 but when I run DW again it still indicates v8 !.

Has anyone seen this problem before as I can't seem to find any info about it
on customer support, only other Vista issues.

It's probably related to this issue:

The solution is to uninstall DW8 then reinstall then immediately install the
8.0.2 updater.

1) uninstall DW8 as currently installed
2) re-install DW8.0 from your media
3) apply the 8.0.2 updater before doing anything else

As the Technote says, this should allow the 8.0.2 updater to 'stick' without
any further issues.

Thanks for info. It did work.

Strange however that I uninstalled DW8. Rebooted PC. Re-installed DW8 and it
didn't ask me for my serial number When I opened it remembered all my previous
files and projects. Installed 8.0.2 and all 100%
