White space in dreamweaver
I'm working in dreamweaver trying to figure out my insert text areas. I created
the placeholders in fireworks and then deleted them and inserted a div tag and table in dreamweaver. I set a css rule for the exact size and positioning it was in fireworks and I am getting white spaces all over the page when i view it in firefox or explorer. 1. If I created a rectangle placeholder for that area in fireworks and then deleted it in dreamweaver, shouldn't it just take up that space in dreamweaver? Why would I even need to use positioning in css? Wasn't that the point of putting the placeholder in fireworks- so my text or table didn't go outside that area? 2. If that's not true, then why am I getting white spaces everywhere? It's a mess!!! |
