I have an xml menu, one of the buttons needs to open up a url in a new window.
Is the href code used? I keep getting errors.This is what I have but it opens
in the same browser. I need to open the link in a new browser

I don't know about xml, but for regular htm I use

target="_blank"

<a href="linknamehere" target="_blank">description here</a>

thx for the reply, I already tried that but I ended up having to write AS3 code in Flash as the xml menu is made from.
