Can't get my site online - Help! please?
:camera;
I initially built my site with Yahoo Sitebuilder but I hate it so I decided I would finally learn how to use Dreamweaver. I'm figuring it out as I go and now I'm finally done and ready to go live...just one big problem...I can't get it online! When I go to manage my site and test it it says it connect successfully blah blah blah. Then when I go to 'put' my files it says it was "unable to complete 5 files or folders" and doesn't tell me which ones they are. So my issue may be with my folders but I don't know. Also, I can't preview my pages using F12 in Dreamweaver (it says "Page Load Error") but if I go to the actual html file in my folder it opens fine in a browser and my links work also to see other pages. Anyone? |

Re: Can't get my site online - Help! please?
are you uploading your files from within a local folder? if the same folder
doesn't exist on your web server, you can get an error?....i know i did!! eg. if you have a jpeg within a local images folder, and the folder doesn't exist on the web server, this may chuck up your error. |
