news site recommendations
hey all. my boss wants to start a news section on our website that will
have articles about the industry, our company, our town etc. with archives and all that good stuff. i'm wondering if there's some kind of software that i could use to make it all easy. i came across drupal, which i've never used. i don't have a lot of time to try out a bunch of different options, so i was just wondering if anyone knows whether this would be a good solution, or if there's something else out there for managing a news site. i'm looking at drupal, and it does look like it'll do what i want. i'd just like to hear from someone who's used it before, or has done a news site. thanks! |

Re: news site recommendations
WordPress is widely supported by many server hosts now. If your server has
cPanel and Fantistico it takes almost no time to install it. http://www.becomeablogger.com/ watch the video tutorials. --Nancy O. Re: news site recommendations
I just completed a fairly complex Drupal site....interesting learning curve.
I guess how prolific will your news be? If your current site is in DW, if you have less than 10 news items a month it might just be way easier to type the stuff in.
