Javascript Errors
Alright, so I've had this problem for a while and I've gotten no reply from
sending a report directly to adobe, so I figure these forums might work better. I have dreamweaver from the Studio 8 pack. I had used it a few times before just testing it out or using it to make imaps and such. But when I had gone one time after that a ton of javascript errors appeared. There were about 5 when I opened it. And then when I'd tried various things within the program I couldn't do them. One of them was: "While executing receiveArguments in Edit_Paste.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred: At line 14 of file "Macintosh HD:Applications:Micromedia Dreamweaver 8:Configuration:Menus:MM:Edit_Paste.js": TypeError: MM.event has no properties" I couldn't paste anything. It was the same with copy. And then when I tried to close the window it would shoot more errors at me. I went onto a different account on my mac and the dreamweaver there worked perfect! I came back to my account (which has all my files on it) and the errors continue to show. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times and none of them work. Does anyone know of a way I could fix this problem? I'm going to be using dreamweaver more often now and I'd like direct access to all my files on my name so that I don't have to keep going back and forth. |

Re: Javascript Errors
to fix these behaviours (code) is a nightmare.
The only real suggestion is to rip out all the Javascript and start again from scratch. You will have to use the code view to make sure the code is clean before adding those behaviours again They cause nothing but misery |
