Hi, My libray item data is no longer in the box. It is stored in files but i cannot add it to to the library item folder. When i add new library item it disappears.....

could be a corruption in the file that tracks this stuff

i dont use this library tool so cant comment really but if its just stopped
working then im guessing it could be a corruption

you could try reinstalling dreamweaver to see if that sorts it

I use library items for my banners, nav bars, and a few images. It seems like
I had the same problem a while back--but can't remember exactly how I resolved
it.
Have you scrolled around the Assets bar to find it? And are you sure that you
didn't accidently delete the item in the assets bar? Sometimes if you do this
the item will still show up in your local site folder. I've intentionally
deleted items in assets and "files" and had to delete them in the local folder.

If the item is still in your local sites folder or one of your pages, from the
page insert it back into the library and go from there..
