fade image to transparent in Firework

I've just installed FWCS3 after working with a previous version for
years and I can't find the menu for fading an image on one edge to
transparent?

There used to be some pre-sets which let you do this now I'm stuck or
having to do it in photoshop.

Any insight into where this facility has gone now? I'm gonna go back and
have another look around.

Cheers

Os.

Commands > Creative > Fade Image is one way to do it. You'll want to set your canvas as transparent of course :-)

I think the term was coined by our broadcasting standards hierarchy to
denote a time (9pm I think it is here in the UK) where content of an
adult nature cannot be broadcast.

dash it ;-)

Ah, ok! I was guessing something more like: "that time of day when it's no
longer too early to drink alcohol and swear". But that would be a lot
earlier than 9 PM!

Yes indeed, a lot f*****g earlier - hic!

I once saw a programme on tv (beyond the 'watershed') where the language
was absolutely appalling, a monologue - it started off something like
this - I've blanked out the worst....

Blankety blankety blankety blank. Blankety blank blankety blank blank.
Balankety blank blankety blank - blankety blankety fuck.
