Prolems viewing remote site

I am having problems trying to display my remote website when I go to upload.
Basically dreamweaver is connecting to the remote server but then appears to be
looking for a file or folder that does not exist
(public_html\XYIZNWSK' ) the prcess just times out. It also tells me that it
cannot establish the time in the remote servers area. Has anyone come across
this before?? Thanks
